History
Troop registered 18/12/1947. In early 1948 R Norman became SM / K Evans ASM (SM in October when R Norman resigned). Troop closed 1950 due lack Scouters and boys moved to 1st Bega. C Austen became SM late 1953. Troop reopened 1953/54. Closed in 1956 / reopened 1961. South Coast List of registrations says Troop registered 27/10/1960, Unit 26/10/1961. Senior Troop registered October 1962 with R Miller SSL. 1962 South Coast Annual report said group had been offered land as a gift, 1963 said had started building, 1964 said hall completed/ occupied /soon to be officially opened, on donated land, building donated, moved and re-erected by Group and service clubs, and 1965 said new hall opened. Scouting in NSW October 1966 bought a former school at Tantawanglo to move to their site. Had 33 members in 1961, 55 in 1962. Had 14 Cubs/1 Leader in 1954 & 55 / closed in 1956. Restarted 1961 with 33 members, had 51 members in 1963, 70 in 1964, 72 in 1965, 63 in 1966, 60 in 1968, 49 in 1969, 29 in 1970, 35 in 1971, 38 in 1972, 37 in 1973.
Pack /troop deregistered December 1975 or 25/2/1976.
