(1) South Coast Times 19/2/1926 said 2nd Troop at Wollongong soon to be formed. Troop/Pack started 8/3/1926 with SM JB Wells & E Donnelly CM, Rover Patrol formed 1926 with C Morrow as Rover Mate. First Rovers invested 18/5/1926. 18 Scouts invested in late May 1926 and had 4 full Patrols. In June 1926 had Cubs, had received a totem pole and flag and a meeting was held on 9/6/1926 to form a Parents & Supporters Committee. Played soccer against Port Kembla in May 1926 and Granville and 1st Wollongong in July 1926. In late 1926 6 Scouts went to Tasmanian Jamboree.
In 1927 Parents & Supporters Committee ran tea tent at Back to Wollongong week. Won 1927 HR Lee Flag competition. Troop disbanded / SM Wells resigned 24/7/1929. However in 1935 listed as attending HR Lee Flag camp.
(2) South Coast Times 22/9/1939 reported recommendation from 1st Wollongong Group to form new Troop to be known as 2nd Wollongong approved. Pack restarted 8/4/1940 with 20 Cubs, Miss D Spriggs CM, Troop started with 24 Scouts on 22/7/1939 SM R Aitcheson.
Pack/Troop reregistered 19/2/1947 and met at Scout Hall, Belmore St with Miss M Connaughton CM and R Aitcheson SM. Came 2nd at HR Lee Flag competition in 1941 /won in 1943.
Had 21 Cubs/21 Scouts/4 Leaders in 1947, 18 Cubs/18 Scouts/3 Leaders in 1948, 13 Cubs/15 Scouts/5 Leaders in 1949, 24 Cubs/6 Scouts/1 Leader in 1950, 14 Cubs/1 Leader in 1951. 1951 Annual Report says merged with other groups due to lack of leaders.
(3) Restarted 1956. Troop reregistered 26/9/1957 as 2nd Wollongong (St Andrews) with A Nelson SM/ sponsoring authority St Andrews Presbyterian Church /met at church hall in Burelli St. Was 2nd Wollongong in 1959 with R Gillespie CM. Had 13 Scouts/1 Leader in 1956, 10 Scouts/2 Leaders in 1957, 9 Scouts/1 Leader in 1958. Closed by 1961 census. Deregistered 22/2/1962.
(4) Salvation Army group. Pack/Troop registered 26/3/1970 with J Hope CM / M Brindley GSM. Senior Troop registered 27/81970 with R Ricketts ASSL. Was Salvation Army group. Had 32 members in 1970, 64 in 1971, 41 in 1972, 32 in 1973. Group deregistered 3/6/1975.
