History
Pack registered 29/10/1959 with W Simpson CM, Troop 28/1/1960 with W Natho SM / P Rose ASM / met at Sue City Town hall.
Had 18 Cubs/9 Scouts/2 Seniors in 1959, 33 members in 1960, 0 in 1961. Area advised 14/6/1961 “1st Sue City Group has closed down following the evacuation of this village”. Sue City was construction camp for Snowy Mountains Scheme. It operated from May 1958 until 1962 when Tumut 2 power Station was completed. O'Hares campsite is on flat on west bank. Only a few foundations remain at northern end. Town was on east bank and now mostly submerged. Near Cooma.
