History
Group registered 1 March 1998 but not listed in South Coast Scouting till December 1998. Was an amalgamation of 1st Corrimal and 1st Fernhill and in late 1998 had all sections – Joeys to Rovers. Merger resulted from 1st Corrimal hall burning down in July 1996 and the 2 Troops meeting together as a result. Lord Mayor of Wollongong at time of amalgamation was former 1st Corrimal Scout who had area named Korrahill Grove so Group could use its chosen name as Scout Association required Group be named after where were located and had previously knocked back name request. Joey Mob started Term 2 1998 with 6 Joeys and with Marie Van Kessel (Possum) and Catherine McGrath (Lorikeet) as Joey Leaders.
Hall at 78 Railway St Corrimal officially opened 1/8/1998 by Lord Mayor of Wollongong David Campbell (former 1st Corrimal Cub/Scout/Venturer) whose children had been in 1st Fernhill. In 2013 had Rovers and Pack/Troop reforming. Closed 19/7/2016
