History

Formed 1956 from some of groups from Keira district (South Coast).

Badge featured Illawarra flame tree with Mt Nebo in background. Black of mountain represented coal industry, red of tree was base colour of scarves of all district groups and blue of ocean and sky.

Was 1st Coniston, 1^st Figtree, 2^nd Figtree, 1^st Figtree Rovers, 1^st Mangerton, 1^st Mount Kembla, 1^st Mt St Thomas, 1^st West Wollongong,

In August 1986 merger with Keira districts to form Kemira District.
